Audio and SELECT are absolutely thrilled to welcome house and techno duo, SOLARDO, to Audio for their San Francisco debut on March 31st! These guys broke onto the scene this year and are one of the most coveted bookings coming out of the UK and their cutting edge sound is tearing up dance floors all over the world. Solardo were one of only a few newcomers to make the Resident Advisor top 100 in 2016, this is a big deal. ​ House and techno artists Solardo are made up of UK based producers Mark Richards (MRK1) and James Elliot. ​ Having previously had a long and deep history in other music genres, Solardo, are now one of the most hotly tipped DJ/production duos in the house and techno scene. ​ ​Their productions have their own unique warm, and high-energy sound which have received great support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Richy Ahmed, Skream, Paco Osuna, Steve Lawler and Jackmaster to name just a few. ​ Solardo’s breakthrough single ‘New Jam’ released in 2015 via Viva Music, went on to become an Ibiza anthem over the summer. The track received support from pretty much everyone in the house and techno scene. ​ Solardo’s release schedule is like no other artist in the house and techno scene, with releases on Skream’s label ‘Of Unsound Mind’, Mark Jenkyns and Max Chapman’s label ‘Resonance’, and EP’s due for release on Riva Starr’s label ‘Snatch’, Kerry Chandler’s label “Madtech”, Steve Lawler’s “Viva Music”, Chase and Status’s “MTA Records” & Hector Couto’s label ‘Roush’ in the coming months, the future looks bright! ​ ​Boiler Room named Solardo as “Big ambition at work”!
