Red Axes is an Israeli electronic duo composed of Dori Sadovnik and Niv Arzi, who have become global icons by blurring the lines between club culture and underground rock. Based in Tel Aviv, the pair originally started in a post-punk band called Red Cotton, a background that heavily informs their signature "electric garage" sound. Their music is a distinct, moody fusion of psychedelic rock, post-punk, and new wave, all driven by the steady pulse of house and techno. Beyond their work as DJs and producers, they are known for their record label, Garzen Records, and their ambitious "Trips" series, where they travel to diverse locations like Ethiopia and Vietnam to collaborate with local musicians.
