(CAT) GEST és un projecte que explora el diàleg entre la música electrònica i l’art contemporani, generant espais on el so es una forma d’interpretació . En aquesta edició , el projecte pren una dimensió més oberta. L’espai comptarà amb tres exposicions simultànies, cadascuna amb el seu propi univers visual, material i conceptual. Creades per Carlos Pesudo, Adela Angulo, Sofia Briales i Berni Puig. Cada exposició serà interpretada en directe per un dj, que construirà un set a partir de les sensacions, idees i atmosferes que li suggereixi l’obra. Traços, textures, materials i formes es transformen així en melodies, ritmes i estructures sonores en constant evolució. Els encarregats de fer-ho seràn Lucient, Squaric i Coconauta Els sets tindran lloc al centre de la sala, en un format proper i immersiu, amb el públic present com a observador del procés. Els assistents podran moure’s per l’espai, recórrer les exposicions i escoltar les sessions en directe, generant una experiència compartida entre obra, so i context. Més que un esdeveniment, es planteja com una jornada oberta on diferents disciplines es troben i dialoguen de manera orgànica. (EN) GEST is a project that explores the dialogue between electronic music and contemporary art, creating spaces where sound becomes a form of interpretation. In this edition, the project expands into a more open format. The space will host three simultaneous exhibitions, each with its own visual, material and conceptual universe, created by Carlos Pesudo, Adela Angulo, Sofia Briales and Berni Puig. Each exhibition will be interpreted live by a dj, building a set based on the sensations, ideas and atmospheres suggested by the artworks. Brushstrokes, textures, materials and forms will be transformed into melodies, rhythms and sonic structures. The djs in charge of it will be Lucient, Squaric and Coconauta. The sets will take place at the center of the space, in an intimate and immersive format, where the audience presents as observers of the process. Visitors will be able to move through the space, explore the exhibitions and listen to the sets live, creating a unique experience mixing artwork, sound and context. More than an event, it is conceived as an open-day journey where different disciplines meet and engage through an organic dialogue. GEST is a project that explores the relationship between electronic music and contemporary art, where sound becomes interpretation of the artwork. Three exhibitions will coexist in the same space, each one will be interpreted live by a dj. Shapes, textures and materials will interplay with melodies, rhythms and moving structures.
