10 Years of Upon You - OffWeek Special Edition at The Warehouse Bcn Ten years have passed – „The Common Ten“. This comes down to a decade. Or 3650 days. 87600 hours. More than five million minutes which equal more than three-hundred-million seconds. It remains untold how many hours the Upon.You Records crew effectively spent working in the office, the studio and working crowds on the dance floor ever since DJ & producer Marco Resmann and electronic music veteran Hawks Gruner laid the foundation for what should become a major force on the international electronic music circuit back in February 2007, but the outcome of this work is fruitful, impressive and still thriving. Looking back on a stream of more than a hundred single releases in the main string of the Upon.You Records catalogue alone, alongside compilations and artist albums, which once again have been accompanied by additional releases put on the circuit through our sub-branches and offsprings Upon.You have grown into a force to be reckoned with. And hell yes, we are happy and proud to have come a long way after all these years. Years in which we've provided a home for more than 50 artists that have released original tracks under our roof, a similar amount of remixes that have been featured on our releases and numerous artists and live acts that have performed at Upon.Your events and club nights all over the place, some of which even have become part of the roster of our very own booking agency – Upon.You Bookings. This said, we are looking forward to a year of anniversary celebrations which are about to go down at Sonar / Barcelona, at ADE / Amsterdam and all over Europe and a year jam packed with thrilling releases including our special ten years anniversary compilation „The Common Ten“, the sequel to „The Hot Five“ compilation album celebrating our fifth anniversary back in 2012, which is about to hit stores in fall, graced by a very special artwork celebrating the big ten, the big X. And of course, we're setting out to unearth more new, raw and yet undiscovered talent providing spine-tingling music for peak time electronic dancefloors near you.
