Bio

JODY dj, native of Modena, began his career working in the early 90s in a major record store in which he formed his cultural background and interest in clubs and the DJing world. He began playing in many clubs in Modena as Picchio Rosso, Rio, Scuderie, etc. At Punto Club he was noticed by an entrepreneur that began to make him play outside the province. He got an incredible success in Veneto thanks to an evening that is still a cult in the Treviso area, the Italian Monday at Supersonic. From here he started a career in this region and for many years he proposed Italian music on Monday and Dance music in the weekend. In '93 he discovered his talent as a writer and thanks to some of his demo he got a contract with the EMI label that took him to sing in several television shows such as San Remo, RoxyBar, Top 20 Italia 1 and to make a video clip for VideoMusic. He used to write, sing and also participate directly in the signing of a Rai program with Pieraccioni and Brigitta Boccoli. The meeting with Claudio Cecchetto brought him to perform on the stage Walky cup at Aquafan with 883 and on the stage of RadioRai2. A few years later he began a fruitful collaboration with DJ Mak Kelly with which he formed the Grooveria production group. The project "Smiling People" in 2001 reached, at the first single, the number one in all Italian radio dance charts and entered the charts in France. The second single, "Make Me Feel" rated at number 14. He is currently resident in the two most important clubs in Veneto: KING'S and STORY, and where he assisted international Djs such as Michael Calfan, Gregor Salto, Oliver Heldens, Deorro, Benny Benassi, and Merk & Kremont, Nervo. Musiclove also produces a radio program on Stereocittà which offers dance sounds. The single ‘Kimmi oh’ was released in February 2016 and is available in all digital stores.
