He was 14 years old when his interest in music woke up. He used to spend countless hours by the DJ booth in a small club at his hometown in Spain. Amazed by the DJ as an "emotion driver" when playing music for a croud, and in 1995 he got his first turntables and started mixing his first vinyls. In 1998, and motivated by bands like Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers or Green Day, he starts playing guitar, drums and bass. Playing in some bands for a few years. In 2002 he moves to Frankfurt, where he got in touch with the local Drum&Bass scene. Was then when he got back into electronic music with Jazzy and Soulful Drum&Bass. In 2003 Denite moves to Thessaloniki (Greece). Playing his first Dj sets in small parties and producing his first tracks signed as Gari Marcos. 2008 he moves back to Spain and starts his new “House” Project using for the first time his aka Denite. Focussing all his musical influences into one unified style turned out into his first 12”, release on the german imprint Resopal Red in 2010. This year Redlight Music, his own record label was born. In 2012 Denite completes his first electronic live set. And makes his first tour along United States and Spain. End of 2012 he becomes resident DJ in one of the main electronic music clubs of Spain: Metro Dance Club. Sharing Dj booth with artist like Loco Dice, Solomun, Âme, John Digweed, Rolando, Nick Fanciulli, Nick Curly or Marc Romboy among others. As a result of his musical background, Denite’s DJ sets can include from Deep House to Techno, always loyal to a rhytmic groove and melody. Denite’s productions are very influenced by the time he spent plating in bands, and by the most rhythmic and melodic Drum&Bass from the 00’s decade. You can always find this influences into his productions in form of a drum loop, a bass lin melody or a percussion groove together with his characteristic keys sound. So far Denite has released his tracks in labels like Diynamic, Get Physical, Third Ear Recordings or his own label Redlight Music. And he has remixed artist like Thomas Schumacher, Deepchild or Echonomist for labels like Noir Music, Trapez Ltd. or Resopal Schallware. His debut album comes out in May 2016. Twelve tracks inspired by love to music and by love to life. Created along 3 cities: New York, Elche (Spain) and Berlin. Musicwise Denite explores new styles in the album. Diving deeper into Electronica, Pop and House Music while keeping his personal touch in drums and keyboards. The recording sessions started in New York during Denite's first US Tour in September 2012. After 24 days of inspiration, ideas, life and vibe from the Big Apple, Denite had ready the first musical ideas for the album. Back to Spain Denite started working in those ideas over some months of emotional studio sessions. From august 2013 to January 2015 the album project was ‘on hold’. After moving to Berlin, in January 2015, Denite got back to the album project and completed the final recordings after some months of intense work in the studio. What else? Future will say.
