Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE)<\/strong> is one of dance music’s most important annual events. As Europe’s response to Miami Music Week, the event attracts the biggest artists from all genres of electronic music, who converge on the Dutch capital for 5 days of parties<\/strong> ranging from intimate and reserved events to the vast and monstruous spaces. Here we pick the ones that, in our opinion, stand out from the usual.<\/p>\n

REAKTOR ADE – DVS1 Presents: A WALL OF SOUND<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Hush head honcho DVS1<\/strong><\/a> brings his ‘Wall Of Sound’ concept to ADE, bringing along friends including darkness maestro Oscar Mulero<\/strong><\/a>, the always eclectic\u00a0Helena Hauff\u00a0<\/strong><\/a>and\u00a0the fiercest live show in techno Karenn<\/strong> (Blawan<\/strong> & Pariah<\/strong>). Room 2 will host, among many others,\u00a0Umwelt<\/strong><\/a> and\u00a0Tsuzing<\/strong>. A stacked line up for one of the most sought after parties of the year, hosted at Warehouse Elementenstraat<\/strong> on Thursday 19th October.<\/p>\n

De School – 62 HOUR PARTY<\/h4>\n

\"ade-62-hour-party\"<\/p>\n

De School<\/strong> which used to be a technical school, is more than a nightclub: it\u2019s also has a concert venue, a restaurant, a caf\u00e9, an exhibition space and a gym. It has a\u00a024-hour license<\/strong>\u00a0and is\u00a0open seven days a week<\/strong>. Artists such as Aurora Halal<\/strong>, Tom Trago<\/strong><\/a>, Dr. Rubinstein<\/strong>, Oceanic<\/strong> or Ramzi<\/strong> will be playing sets during the 62-hour party. The event will run from October 20 to October 23, so make sure you get some rest the days before!<\/p>\n

HYTE X ADE<\/h4>\n

Another 3 day party with a jaw-dropping line up that includes names such as HYTE’s mastermind\u00a0Loco Dice<\/strong><\/a>, Pan-Pot<\/strong><\/a>, Ricardo Villalobos<\/strong><\/a>, Seth Troxler<\/strong><\/a>, Marcel Dettmann<\/strong><\/a>, Monoloc<\/strong><\/a> or Guti<\/strong><\/a>. Taking over\u00a0Warehouse Elementenstraat<\/strong>, the insane event will start on the 20th of October and will finish on the 23rd. Not for the faint-hearted.<\/p>\n

Audio Obscura – Mosaic by Maceo<\/h4>\n

Fresh from an incredible residency in Pacha Ibiza, Maceo Plex<\/strong><\/a> brings Mosaic back to the Amsterdam in association with Audio Obscura on Friday 20th October. Maceo will be joined by the likes of\u00a0The Drifter<\/strong><\/a> or Levon Vincent<\/strong> <\/a>at Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ<\/strong>, a venue usually associated with classical music where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city<\/p>\n

Awakenings ADE X Len Faki presents Figure Nacht<\/h4>\n

The enormous Gashouder<\/strong> will be the home of Len Faki<\/strong> <\/a>and some of his Figure Nacht family like the uprising star Regal<\/strong><\/a>. KiNK<\/strong><\/a> presents his amazing Cyrillic live set and Detroit legends Robert Hood and ‘The Wizard’ Jeff Mills<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>will ensure an amazing night. Plus, the closing set belongs to the one and only Jeff, what else could you ask for?<\/p>\n
