The festival, which is celebrating its 21st year in 2017, brings together music lovers and industry professionals to the Netherlands for a five-day run of club shows, panel discussions and business meetings. ADE attracts 365,000 festival visitors to Amsterdam each year, with more than 2,000 DJs performing at the city&#8217;s clubs.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Arguably the best event of its kind, ADE&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.amsterdam-dance-event.nl\/program\/conference\">conference<\/a>\u00a0connects people from all ends of the global electronic music community, with a programme of panels, presentations and networking events tailored for artists as well as industry professionals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">One of the events that will definitely not stay unnoticed is the<strong> 62-hour long party<\/strong> marathon at De School.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>De School<\/strong> opened in January 2016 on Doctor Jan van Breemenstraat in Amsterdam&#8217;s west. The venue, which used to be a technical school, is more than a nightclub: it&#8217;s also has a concert venue, a restaurant, a caf\u00e9, an exhibition space and a gym. It has a <strong>24-hour license<\/strong> and is <strong>open seven days a week<\/strong>.\u00a0The nightclub has a capacity of 700 and is located in the school&#8217;s former bicycle storage area. The club&#8217;s programming focuses on local DJs, who are given the opportunity to play extended sets.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>International artists Aurora Halal, Oceanic, Stellar OM Source, Kara-Lis Coverdale, Iona Fortune and Ramzi will be playing sets during the 62-hour party.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De School promoter Luc Mastenbroek told\u00a0<em>RA<\/em>\u00a0the marathon party was a way to show how all of dance music\u2019s subcultures could coexist. Mastenbroek said: &#8220;After last year&#8217;s ADE we realized we weren&#8217;t happy with <strong>separate events<\/strong> anymore.
