Indeed, in this document obtained by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmz.com\/2017\/07\/05\/tupac-handwritten-letter-to-madonna-from-jail\/\" target=\"_blank\">TMZ<\/a><\/strong>, the 22-year old confessed that he broke up with the star because of her <strong>white race<\/strong>, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8216;For you to be seen with a black man wouldn&#8217;t in any way jeopardize your career if anything it would make you seem much more open and exciting. But for me at least in my previous perception I felt due to my &#8216;image&#8217; I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was&#8217; <strong>Says the artist, adding<\/strong> &#8216;I never meant to hurt you.&#8217;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-daze_wrapper_width wp-image-5522\" src=\"https:\/\/images.xceed.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/07\/29122144\/1280_madonna_tupac_GettyImages-649551984.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1140\" height=\"641\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tupac also points out\u00a0that all of this was mainly due to his ego. In the letter, Tupac also refers to an interview Madonna did in which she mentioned she was dating multiple men.
