But first thing first, you will need to find the right one for you<\/strong>. There are a lot of festivals to choose from & you don\u2019t want to end up somewhere you don\u2019t belong. Have a look at our\u00a0top 10 festivals in Europe for 2017<\/strong><\/a> to pick the one you like. It can surely give you a couple of ideas to find what you are looking for according to your mood, tastes and the festival\u2019s atmosphere. We want your summer<\/strong> to be the best of your life<\/strong> and your festival experience to be remembered so, take notes!<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t procrastinate<\/h3>\n

After choosing the right festival for you, get your ticket asap<\/strong>. Some festival\u2019s tickets are going out very quickly or the prices are going up to the point where you can\u2019t even buy it. So, get your tickets early<\/strong><\/a>! If you\u2019re thinking of buying them at the door you\u2019re wrong, you might most likely get ripped off.<\/p>\n

One of the core rule coming to a festival is DO<\/strong>\u00a0NOT TO BRING<\/strong> your last brand new Iphone<\/strong>. We know you want to take pictures & videos but is it worth it? You\u2019ll run out of battery at some point, charging would be complicated adding the fact that there are 85% of chances it\u2019ll be broken or stolen. Keep it simple: call and text is enough & browsing online is forbidden.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Invest in a phone charger<\/h3>\n

If you really don’t want to invest in a crap phone\u00a0you\u2019ll need an external phone battery<\/strong>. One flick of a switch gives your phone twice the battery life increasing the\u00a0likelihood to\u00a0find your drunk mates.<\/p>\n

Sneak alcohol secretly<\/h3>\n

Because not everyone can afford or just can handle drinking beers all day\/night long, we may eventually try\u00a0to sneak alcohol into\u00a0the festival. Warning<\/strong>: be discrete <\/strong>and ingenious<\/strong>. Big ups to our best friend the secret flask<\/strong>, mainstream, but worth trying. This time try to pour alcohol in your tube of sun cream (make sure to clean it well) and bring by your side your lightest skin colored, highest mate to be more credible.<\/p>\n

Another golden tip would be to bring your camelback<\/strong> and fill it with your favorite alcohol. Personal, practical booze on your back and you\u2019re good to go for the day\/night.<\/p>\n

Hydrate yourself (not only with alcohol)<\/h3>\n

Alright alright it might sound a bit boring but trust us water is your friend in every circumstance<\/strong> when dancing, tanning, passed out or being high\u2026 If you want to survive and make it to the end of the festival and not spend the last 2 days in a medic tent, drink water. This will reduce your chances to die from exhaustion.<\/p>\n

Wet Wipes & hand sanitizer converts into your typical daily shower<\/h3>\n

With mud, sweat, coupled with the fact that the showers are fucking gross & what you did last night you\u2019ll turn into a sort of wild smelly repulsive animal. In order to stay as fresh as possible, invest in wet wipes, hand sanitizer<\/strong> and get your own toilet paper<\/strong>. You\u2019d be surprised how infrequently they\u2019re replaced.<\/p>\n

You shall bring your Rain Gear<\/h3>\n

Because it\u2019s summer you think shit never happens? Wrong to think this way. It happens and it\u2019s no fun when you aren\u2019t prepared. Bring your rain gear & dry clothes<\/strong> in case of. \u00a0If you didn\u2019t think of this and wanna play it the old fashion way, a plastic bag works like a charm.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Experience in pairs<\/h3>\n

Whether you\u2019re the small and drunk person of your group that always loses everyone or the responsible one able to reunite the troupes, we advise to set a way of being spotted by distance.\u00a0Flags, wings, reference point, whistle, talkie walkie<\/strong>\u2026 be creative but don’t let your man behind.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Be comfortable<\/h3>\n

No need for you to bring your top outfits. Seriously no one cares, no one will look at you. Do you really believe your glitters is gonna fix to your dirty face for 4 days?\u00a0Be comfortable<\/strong> and in your\u00a0clothes as well. A tricky one: the Jumpsuit. Not appropriate at all<\/strong>, picture yourself unbuttoning it every single hour in a portable toilet in the dark. Not convenient.<\/p>\n

Leave at the appropriate time<\/h3>\n

Organization from the beginning to the end my friends!<\/strong> Pack your things up and leave the festival either very early or wait and leave when the crowd thins out. Don\u2019t make the mistake to wake up and go around 7am and 9am. You\u2019ll surely struggle and get stuck in a huge queue trying to get through the exit gates.<\/p>\n
