A video recording was then posted on Sunday showing people dancing to the call to prayer, obviously attracting attention, prompting authorities shut down the club.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The well-known DJ &amp; producer has apologized to the public: \u201cI want to offer my sincere apologies to anyone who may have been offended by music that I played at<strong> Orbit festival<\/strong> in Tunisia on Friday.&#8221;&#8230;&#8221;It was never my intention to upset or cause offense to anybody.\u201d Moreover, he had to remove his Facebook fan page after several <strong>death threats following his set<\/strong> at the festival.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>The Guardian<\/em> also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/2017\/apr\/03\/tunisian-nightclub-shut-over-muslim-call-to-prayer-remix-orbit-festival\" target=\"_blank\">reports<\/a> that the nightclub\u2019s manager has been arrested \u201cfor violation against good morals and public outrage against modesty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Orbit festiva<\/strong>l organisers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/TheOrbitFestival\/posts\/1831583397108359\" target=\"_blank\">apologised<\/a> in a Facebook post on Monday, saying that <strong>Dax J<\/strong> did not realize \u201cit might offend an audience from a Muslim country like ours&#8221;&#8230; and finished with a word of peace : \u201cSo my friends, forgive, love and do not forget that the <strong>music is the answer<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Dax J, techno DJ and producer, has played the Muslim call to prayer during his set at Orbit&hellip;\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":3725,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"csco_singular_sidebar":"","csco_page_header_type":"","csco_page_load_nextpost":"","csco_post_video_location":[],"csco_post_video_url":"","csco_post_video_bg_start_time":0,"csco_post_video_bg_end_time":0,"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[115],"tags":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-3722","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-news","8":"cs-entry","9":"cs-video-wrap"},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
