Thanks to several releases on his label but also on SUBSIST or Rafarta Records, Squaric is a\u00a0complete artist. This mix is particularly special as it was Squaric&#8217;s rythmic industrial noise set during a audio-visual carater experimental event at OFF SONAR week in <strong>Barcelona<\/strong> this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Today, I had the chance to meet him and ask him a few questions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3630\" src=\"https:\/\/images.xceed.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/29122229\/squaric-xxx.jpg\" alt=\"squaric-rodrigo-garcia-xceed\" width=\"1024\" height=\"646\" \/><\/p>\n<h4 id=\"can-you-tell-us-more-about-diffuse-reality\" class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Can you tell us more about Diffuse reality?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Diffuse Reality is an independent record\u00a0label. Those events took place in abandoned places, like gas or train stations. There were clearly illegal raves, but super\u00a0underground and with a really special energy, really special&#8230; It&#8217;s from that moment, I decided to start everything.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"can-you-recommend-two-djs-to-us-whom-you-feel-deserve-their-attention\" class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Can you recommend two DJs to us whom you feel deserve their attention?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jeff Mills &amp; Sunil Sharpe.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"how-do-you-feel-about-how-this-new-increase-in-access-to-making-electronic-music\" class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>How do you feel about how this new increase in access to making electronic music?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">I think it&#8217;s very interesting and positive that now everyone can access to make electronic music. It&#8217;s something important and we should exploit it, not only record labels but also bring to light the\u00a0new talents.<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"in-the-last-years-more-and-more-successful-djs-started-their-own-label-their-own-party-etc-what-was-for-you-the-reasons-to-start-diffuse-reality-and-whats-the-concept-behind-it\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>In the last years, more and more successful DJs started their own label, their own party, etc&#8230; What was for you the reasons to start Diffuse Reality and what&#8217;s the concept behind it?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">I started my first project in 2011. It was a netlabel called Kidnapping (you can still find the releases on the web, they are free!). This netlabel had experimental, industrial, IDM and Techno influences.<br \/>\nWith time I was looking forward to give a turn to this project, and then after a few years of work, I decided to create Diffuse Reality Records.<br \/>\nThe concept of the label? I won&#8217;t tell, I will let you discover it by yourself!<\/p>\n<h4 id=\"can-you-tell-us-about-your-future-releases-and-projects\" class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b>Can you tell us about your future releases and projects?<\/b><\/h4>\n<p class=\"p2\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">In a few weeks, my track Ravereando will be published in a vinyl format for the record label HC of Valencia.
