This Filipino coffee shop is a place I\u2019m particularly fond of, located in the Oberkampf area, right in the heart of Paris, also just a few steps away from the Rinse studio. I particularly love their ube latte, and highly recommend it if you enjoy coffee with a smooth and slightly different twist. It\u2019s actually a little monthly ritual for me before each radio show. With that in hand, I feel ready to jump on the decks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

JJ Hings Ice Cream<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the best ice cream spots in Paris. Maybe even the best, actually. They always offer original and unique flavours. The menu changes regularly, so you never really know what you\u2019ll find when you go. Once you\u2019ve tried it, it\u2019s hard to go back to regular ice cream, it quickly becomes addictive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A friend introduced me to this place a few years ago. If you like Asian cuisine \u2014 or even if you\u2019re just curious to discover new dishes \u2014 I really recommend going to JanTchi. It\u2019s a great place to explore different specialities. Let’s put it this way, you can go there with your eyes closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yoyaku Record Store<\/strong><\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yoyaku is the kind of place where any electronic music lover will instantly feel at home. It\u2019s a real space for listening to records and getting lost in music for hours. You might walk in for a quick browse and end up staying much longer than planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There\u2019s also a small caf\u00e9 inside in a very nicely designed space. Definitely worth a visit. It’s the 3rd inner courtyard \u2013 ring \u201cChapelle\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Rinse studios are a great place for DJs. I go there regularly to host my radio show, The Koko Show<\/a><\/strong>. I really enjoy spending time there. The team is amazing, and you often run into other DJs you admire. It\u2019s a place where we can share our passion for music, connect with other artists from the scene and exchange ideas. Spaces like this are quite precious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
