People from all around the world want to be a part of the art \u2013 the whole Burning Man is known to be a <strong>genuine art scene.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Two years ago, I\u2019ve finally decided to head up to the festival. Yeah, I was more than curious to know what the so-called \u2018burners\u2019 meant when telling me that the BM is \u2018beyond reality\u2019, something \u2018you have to live to understand\u2019 \u2013 that kind of sentences that use to tense me up a little.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But guys, the truth is that it is genuinely almost impossible to put this into words. But I\u2019m gonna try to give you a little taste of what it\u2019s like. Here are 8 info\/tips to get the most the <strong>greatest exuberant festival on earth.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3182\" src=\"https:\/\/images.xceed.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/29122249\/BurningMan1_creditZippyLomax.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"920\" height=\"463\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>You&#8217;ll be part of\u00a0a giving economy<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The only thing you will be need to pack before going to BM is cash \u2013 <strong>commercialism is hated<\/strong> you will never see sponsorship or branding and that feels goooood. Outside ice and coffee, all items <strong>are based on gifting<\/strong> \u2013 yes everything! Another point will be that in order to get into the burning fam you\u2019ll need to bring something, material or not. The question of what to bring became a real nightmare for me during preparation. But whether you\u2019re giving away shitty bracelets (like me), beignets or free hugs the point is to <strong>make people feel good.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pro tip: Leave your cynicism outside the door, <strong>every single little attention matter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3178\" src=\"https:\/\/images.xceed.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/29122249\/gift5-640x480.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"920\" height=\"463\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>You&#8217;ll get a spiritual experience with the Burn\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The premise of Burning Man is that the city is built then broken and burned at the end of the festival as a statement about impermanence; it\u2019s all about <strong>the \u2018leave no trace\u2019 philosophy<\/strong>. It\u2019s the idea of coming and going like a breeze, which perfectly underlines the feeling of <strong>freedom <\/strong>you\u2019re experiencing at BM. The structure of the Man (burned at the very end) is different each year but the atmosphere is always surreal. Watching the <strong>ceremonial burn <\/strong>is probably the most blow minding scene I\u2019ve ever attended.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3169\" src=\"https:\/\/images.xceed.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/29122250\/Burning_Man_2015_Galen_Oakes-157-of-168.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"920\" height=\"463\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>It&#8217;s more than a regular music festival<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Burning Man does <strong>not have resident DJs<\/strong>, it is not regarded as a simple (music) festival. The idea behind the Burning Man concept is different than any other festival in the world. What I mean by that is that at regular festivals you are waiting for things to happen, waiting for sets, basically waiting to be entertained. At BM you and everyone are making things happen, your ultimate goal is to entertain. DJs and burners are all part of <strong>a big family<\/strong>, that what makes it magic. Literally had the time of my life at the <strong>Robot Heart<\/strong> which is a double-decker bus with an insane sound system. Got some serious powerful emotions. Here\u2019s below <strong>Atish\u2019s set<\/strong>, most electrifying set on hearth I reckon \u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/194358768&amp;auto_play=false&amp;hide_related=false&amp;show_comments=true&amp;show_user=true&amp;show_reposts=false&amp;visual=true\" width=\"920%\" height=\"463\" frameborder=\"no\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Other popular music camps will be Distrikt (day time), Camp Question Mark and White Ocean.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3179\" src=\"https:\/\/images.xceed.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/29122249\/30.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"920\" height=\"463\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>You&#8217;ll meet with alienated characters<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Everyone at Burning Man is an individual, you might get to see celebrities, but unlike hipster-shitty-look-at-me festivals like Coachella, no one cares who you are or where you\u2019re coming from. Every single people seems to be from another planet but the same one. Mad Max style. All burners are <strong>eccentric, unique, extraordinary and bizarre<\/strong>. There, you want to dress up with something as loud and ridiculous as you couldn\u2019t even think \u2013 your mission would be to <strong>dare to differ<\/strong>. If you don\u2019t you \u2018ll look silly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pro tip: <strong>Bring goggles<\/strong>&#8211; more than making you looking cool they will protect your eyes from wind and dust.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3170\" src=\"https:\/\/images.xceed.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/29122250\/5f1be01d90c649cce09ad0e859280686.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"920\" height=\"463\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>You&#8217;ll explore<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The site is insanely huge. You won\u2019t be able to see and absorb everything from the BM. But give it a try! With over <strong>5<\/strong><strong>\u00bd square miles in a 97,000-square-mile desert<\/strong> you will need a <strong>bike <\/strong>to get around. What can be a daily program? Well, it goes from events in camps, all kind of <strong>workshops<\/strong>, <strong>yoga<\/strong> and meditation <strong>classes<\/strong>, to <strong>orgies <\/strong>or group masturbation plus events such as the \u201cTutu Tuesday\u201d or the \u201cAss stamp camp\u201d, the list goes on\u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pro tip: You\u2019ve been warned, so to see everything\u00a0<strong>open your eyes, minds and hearts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3171\" src=\"https:\/\/images.xceed.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/29122250\/Sarah-Duff-Burning-Man-13.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"920\" height=\"463\" \/><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>It&#8217;s a scene of art\u00a0<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Burning Man is full of creative people; driven by their passion they are working for months to build <strong>insane installations<\/strong> that will be existing only for a week. <strong>A museum in the desert<\/strong>. Well yeah kind of, but there are plenty of crazy activities you\u2019d never experience if it wasn\u2019t here. For instance, you have the unique opportunity to <strong>observe <\/strong>the <strong>rings of Saturn, Jupiter\u2019s moon, galaxies<\/strong>&#8230; The observatory inaugurated in 2014 includes two 21-foor domes and 20-inch telescope.
