In venues like The Warehouse<\/strong>, house music became a rebellion and a form of expression for queer people and the black community. And following suit, the city of Detroit <\/strong>would begin to shape the techno scene with names like Juan Atkins<\/strong> at the forefront. With time, both genres climbed the charts, reaching other American cities and Europe, mainly the UK, and over the years the scene began to attract all kinds of audiences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
