When we released the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/xceed.me\/blog\/en\/interview-with-marco-faraone\/?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=article&amp;utm_campaign=200907-GEN-ENG-BLOG-HERTZ%20COLLISION%20PODCAST\" target=\"_blank\">Xceed Podcast 013 with Marco Faraone<\/a> in April, we received an interesting proposal from a regular contributor of his. He is Francesco Profeti, he is from <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/xceed.me\/en\/firenze?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=city&amp;utm_campaign=200907-GEN-ENG-BLOG-HERTZ%20COLLISION%20PODCAST\" target=\"_blank\">Florence<\/a> (where Marco became big), and until last year he formed the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/xceed.me\/en\/artist\/hertz-collision?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=artist&amp;utm_campaign=200907-GEN-ENG-BLOG-HERTZ%20COLLISION%20PODCAST\" target=\"_blank\">Hertz Collision<\/a> tandem with Pietro Franchini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project started in 2009 and has experienced some great moments: they performed in <a href=\"https:\/\/radion.amsterdam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Radion<\/a> (Amsterdam) for Dynamic Reflection during the ADE, they collaborated in two events the same month in <a href=\"https:\/\/xceed.me\/en\/firenze\/club\/tenax?utm_source=blog&amp;utm_medium=venue&amp;utm_campaign=200907-GEN-ENG-BLOG-HERTZ%20COLLISION%20PODCAST\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tenax<\/a> (the club with the longest history in Florence) together with Ben Klock, Marcel Fengler and Marco Faraone himself, and they were invited to play at <a href=\"https:\/\/tresorberlin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Tresor<\/a> (via Mario Berger) and <a href=\"https:\/\/griessmuehle.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Griessm\u00fchle<\/a> (via Synoid), two of the leading clubs in Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignnone size-full wp-image-21118\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"920\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/images.xceed.me\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/09\/29121109\/Xceed-Artist-Hertz-Collision.png\" alt=\"Xceed-Artist-Hertz Collision\" class=\"wp-image-21118\"\/><figcaption>Image: \u00a9 Hertz Collision&#8217;s Press Kit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>But where we find more of Hertz Collision is in their studio. They launched music on imprints like Dynamic Reflection, Frozen Border, Eartground, Uncage, Be As One, Suburban Avenue, Illegal Allien Rec or Aine. Despite that, the duo&#8217;s story took a turn in 2019, when Pietro decided to step aside and let Francesco continue with Hertz Collision as a solo artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>To be honest, I think there are no differences between my artistic self and my personal self. I\u2019m a humble person, really friendly and focused on my works. I like to be creative and connect with other producers constantly. I\u2019m always open to collabs.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-soundcloud wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-soundcloud wp-embed-aspect-4-3 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Xceed Podcast 017: Hertz Collision by Xceed\" width=\"1200\" height=\"400\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?visual=true&#038;url=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.soundcloud.com%2Ftracks%2F889178086&#038;show_artwork=true&#038;maxwidth=1200&#038;maxheight=1000&#038;dnt=1\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p>We got to know the history of Hertz Collision and we discovered his sounds. He proposes an intense journey into the most genuine past of techno music. Sound caresses that are born in industrial buildings occupied at the end of the 20th century, when young people escape from oppressive realities to connect with the deepest and purest of both their own and other people&#8217;s souls, both known and unknown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>I think my sound comes from reconnecting to the techno music that was produced years ago: fast, raw drums with chords, stabs, vocals, and trippy, easy melodies.
