Who is Adeline? Tell us a bit more about yourself and how you started working in the music industry.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I started DJing back in Stockholm in the mid-2000s, during my university years. I was rolling away on my longboard to sign up for a DJ school which was just kicking off – it was an extraordinarily serious one and it lasted 3 months. At the time, I was living my life with a very academic approach so probably it was the exact format I needed. After the school, I immediately threw myself into the Stockholm club scene. Together with La Fleur I started a project called Housewives and I was playing all over Sweden. and also hosted the biggest electronic music radio show in Scandinavia on Swedish National Radio.<\/p>\n

PS: I did finish my studies in Mathematics! (laughs)<\/p>\n

You also worked on the radio. Do you miss it?\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

As said above I worked for the Swedish National Radio and, on top of that, also for Pulse Radio. To be honest, I don\u2019t really miss it now, I think everything has its own time.<\/p>\n

Who are your biggest inspirations?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m inspired by the expanding consciousness, the way in which we – as we understand more – become the best versions of ourselves. I\u2019m also inspired by love, the pain it brings, but of course also and especially the joy it brings. Right now however I\u2019ve made it a mission to really feel into that unconditional love which is not dependent on any person or situation. And that really brings a lot of peace, also to my work.<\/p>\n

You are Swedish, how is the clubbing scene over there?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It\u2019s better nowadays then when I started! I haven\u2019t lived in Sweden since 2010 however, so I can\u2019t say I\u2019m quite updated.<\/p>\n

Together with La Fleur you were the Housewives, tell us more about this project.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It was a great time, it\u2019s so much fun when you can share your passion with another person. You spend all the time together, come up with the biggest – sometimes also silliest – ideas and then you pull them off. There’s so much magic in being able to work with someone else in this way.<\/p>\n

You have also been playing in Ibiza for long, how would you compare \u201cthe nowadays Isla\u201d to that one of a few years ago?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The island, just as life, is constantly changing. Every year there are new things happening. I really love Ibiza, I have always loved the island, and maybe I\u2019ll move my base there soon. For. Me personally it just gets better and better!<\/p>\n

You have travelled a lot in the past years, between Europe and the US. Which is the music scene you prefer and why?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I love to travel and explore different parts of the world. It\u2019s always fun to meet passionate music lovers, we\u2019re the same no matter where we live and where we are! All music scenes have their pros and cons, so I can\u2019t really say. My wish is to just to continue enjoying them all!<\/p>\n

You also went to Burning Man, tell us more about this experience.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Burning Man is a great adventure, it\u2019s a social experiment and there’s no other festival like this. I\u2019m planning on going again soon. It requires planning and perseverance to live In the desert for a week, but it\u2019s just so worth it!<\/p>\n

Where do you spend most of your time? In the DJ booth or in the studio?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I spend a lot of time in the studio! Most of the time actually, when I\u2019m not travelling. It’s the place where I find my peace and where I can relax, even though it’s work. I follow the flow and often when I start producing I don’t even realize how much time has passed!<\/p>\n

Playing or creating? What do you prefer?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I love them both, in different ways. They both are very inspiring and it’s what I live for, if it’s not one, it’s the other. Whatever brings joy into my life is super welcome.<\/p>\n

Which has been, up to now, your biggest success?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The amazing thing with life is that the last successes always seem to be the biggest ones. But in reality, if you are patient and work hard for what you want, it just gets better and better!<\/p>\n

You are going have a release on Crosstown Rebels. How does it feel to be released on such an important label?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It does feel amazing, to be honest. It was a dream I had for a long time so now it feels really great to have that under my belt. It’s a big achievement and also an honour.<\/p>\n

What are your plans for the future?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I\u2019m launching a record label called Body frequency and I also am working on signing new material. It has been a very busy period between gigs and productions and I can’t wait to know what’s coming next.<\/p>\n

Absolutely yes! It\u2019s in the works!<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the biggest wish to yourself?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

To continue what I’m doing, better and better, more and more!<\/p>\n
