Dimensions Festival<\/strong>, the marvelous agglomeration of dance music<\/strong>, nature<\/strong>, and history<\/strong>. A festival where, in order to move from one stage to the other, you have to walk through rough<\/strong> paths and impervious<\/strong> passages.
\nBased in Croatia, inside the spectacular fortress of Punta<\/strong> Christo<\/strong>, this colorful and playful festival is organized by some awesome English people. These guys have always been able to put together exceptional line-ups at each edition of this festival, hosting some of the biggest names now operating in the electronic music realm. I<\/span>f we had to list them one by one, you would probably stop reading this article. So we’ll just provide you with a handful names to give you an idea of what we are talking about. Artists such as\u00a0Jeff Mills<\/strong><\/a>, Marcel Dettman<\/strong><\/a>, Ben UFO<\/strong><\/a>, Tama Sumo<\/strong><\/a>, Helena Hauff<\/strong><\/a>, Joy Orbison<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Maurice Fulton<\/strong><\/a>, Nina Kraviz<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0have ignited the dance floor surrounded by ancient ruins and a wild nature.\u00a0If you take a careful look at the line ups of each edition of this festival, you may realize that we have probably skipped someone who is “very big” for you personally, but understand that this is an article and not an infinite list of dizzying names.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Whilst ensuring top acts at each event,\u00a0this festival is also renown for showcasing new talent. Dimensions Festival supports fresh artists by giving them a space to perform.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

What’s more, the team behind Dimensions have just launched their new\u00a0DJ Directory<\/strong>, a platform started in 2017 devoted to spotlight<\/strong> emerging DJs and producers, offering to them an invaluable opportunity to get connected with record labels and promoters operating all over the world.

As 2018 begins, new members have joined this precious networks and, carrying over the eclectic personality of Dimensions Festival, the latest additions range from ATL based, Detroit born\u00a0Ash Lauryn<\/strong>, to\u00a0Masalo<\/strong>, part of Amsterdam\u2019s next wave of young creatives. Then there\u2019s\u00a0Michael Upson<\/strong>, founder of Leed\u2019s gay dance party \u2018Love Muscle\u2019 and\u00a0Kiara Scuro<\/strong>,\u00a0a South London based duo who host a regular show on Peckham\u2019s finest station – Balamii. These join the current Directory artists, with\u00a0anu<\/strong>, SNO<\/strong>, ANDWOT<\/strong>, Kamma<\/strong>, Jay Simon<\/strong>, Debora<\/strong> Ipekel<\/strong>\u00a0and more already on the cards.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ash Lauryn\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ash Lauryn is a DJ, promoter, and blogger from Detroit, based in Atlanta, GA. Ash is influenced by her Detroit roots. As an active member of the dance music community for over a decade, Ash ran her own party \u2018Orbit\u2019, and runs a bi-monthly event \u2018Expressions.\u2019 In 2017, Ash dropped mixes for the likes of Rinse FM, NTS Radio, Discwoman, and Honey Soundsystem, to name a few. Her infamous \u201cBlack Girls Like Techno Too\u201d mix for Honey Soundsystem received rave reviews.<\/span><\/p>\n
