“To communicate through music what can hardly be described by words.” This is how the Italian Fedele embraced the creation of “Vampire Electronics”. The track is part of the EP No Mercy For Beginners, with which he makes his debut as a solo producer.
Fedele is one of the three members of the acclaimed melodic techno trio Agents Of Time, regulars for their releases and events of cult labels such as Ellum (owned by Maceo Plex) or Afterlife (owned by Tale Of Us). In 2019, Fedele decided to start a parallel solo project using his real name. First, as a DJ; now, also as a producer.
Hours and hours of work in the studio have brought to No Mercy For Beginners, an EP with five original tracks and a remix by the legendary DJ Hell, that will be released on January 31st on Turbo Recordings.
“Vampire Electronics” is the consequence of my incursion in the cinema’s world fitting my music on the Alessandro Piva’s movie ” Ten Years On” in a live performance at the Filmoteca de Catalunya. There I got the clue of how music can shape the “visions” of moods and the atmospheres. So right after watching “Dracula Untold” got really inspired, went on the machines and I composed a track based on contrasting music atmospheres but able, at the same time, to generate differents moods per each atmosphere. The choice of releasing this track putting together my both aliases, comes from the merging of my two different visions and modus operandi, leading to a final result in perfect balance. // Fedele
In “Vampire Electronics”, as in the rest of the No Mercy For Beginners EP, Fedele moves away from the usual melodic techno work and embraces rawer, more industrial sounds and bases that flirt with breaks. The EP will be officially presented on Thursday, February 6th at an exclusive party at the Bridge_48 facilities, the same place where these six pieces, and where Fedele’s solo career begins.
