We take a look back to 2016 to remember that magical day in southern Switzerland. The beautiful town of Ascona hosted more than 10 hours of music in which Luciano was the main protagonist. Two years later, Lido di Ascona will fill again the shores of Maggiore Lake and, together with Fair Live and Secret Society, presents 2 Days In Ascona, an extended two-day event where we will dance to the great Seth Troxler and the best names in the area.
In daytime (from 2:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.), Saturday will be a day for We Love Ticino. This time Luciano will not be there, but we will enjoy with his fellow in Cadenza label Ezikiel. sCs’s Marco Berger, Kenny Ground, Iván Álvarez and Giuseppe Loi complete the line-up of this first day of dancing.
Sunday will be the big day. sCs label repeats with Djazz. We will also have William Djoko, who has released music in Tuskegee and Voyage Direct labels, and Mirko Loko, from Comet Traxx. However, the star of the day will be the American Seth Troxler. Originally from Detroit, this 32-year-old DJ and producer keeps his sounds and sets as fresh as the first day we saw him on a stage. Despite his city of origin is the cradle of techno, he always wanted to play house music, the genre that defines him and that has led him to be one of the biggest claims of the industry. With him, this second festive day in Ascona promises to be historic.
Don’t be afraid of water! The organization has installed a new tensile structure that will prevent us from getting wet in case of rain. So everything is ready!
