Tomorrowland, the ultimate festival giant, has decided to land right in the heart of the city with a proposal that’s set to revolutionize the electronic music scene for fans all over Spain: ‘The Great Library of Tomorrow‘. Picture a journey through the universe of one of the world’s most iconic festivals, but this time, as an immersive experience that pushes the boundaries of creativity and technology.
This isn’t the first time the Belgian titan has set its sights on Barcelona as a host. Though under not ideal circumstances, the city had its own “edition” with UNITE with Tomorrowland in 2019 featuring artists like Nervo, David Guetta or Lost Frequencies. And now, they’re back in Spain’s most cosmopolitan metropolis with a brand new, grand project up their sleeve.
Starting December 15, the Espacio Inmersivo Aribau will turn into a gateway to this world created and designed by the Tomorrowland creative team along with Xtended Reality Music Hub, a collaboration of Blanco y Negro Music with Layers of Reality. The result? A stunning fusion of art, creativity, and cutting-edge technology that invites you to dive into the stories and themes of the Tomorrowland universe, from The World of the Great Tree to The Realm of Melodia. Objects, curiosities, and many features of Tomorrowland’s DNA will be unveiled in Barcelona.
This limited-time experience promises to be Barcelona’s new gem, taking you on an hour-long journey through over 1,000 square meters of digital art and virtual reality installations.
