Almost 3,000 people enjoyed this last Sunday with one of the best live acts we can see in the electronic music scene. Pacha Barcelona hosted a new SIGHT event which brought to Barcelona one of the most demanded and acclaimed artists in the world. Stephan Bodzin is one of the producers with greater knowledge of the synthesizer and, due to it, his productions are highly recommended in the melodic techno genre. The list of hits produced throughout his career has no end. We could dance almost all of them on Sunday, but, with these five, we just flew to another planet.
Catamaran
It’s one of the tracks from his first EP for Afterlife, Tale Of Us’ label. It was released three months ago.
Sleepless
Stephan Bodzin is brave enough also to remix other artists. One of his greatest results doing it is Sleepless, produced originally by the German duo Pan-Pot.
Strand
It’s the other track from his EP on Afterlife, which got the same name. We had the great chance to listen to this amazing tune thanks to Tale Of Us, Mind Against, Adriatique or Dixon, who played this track in the course of some of their best sets.
Powers Of Ten
Bodzin produces techno most of the times, but this one is closer to ambient. In fact, we can’t catalogue this as a techno track. It was so well charted by the industry and a lot of top producers decided to remix it. For example, Maceo Plex or Gabriel Ananda.
Singularity
With this track, Bodzin got the first positions in techno industry in 2015. It was released on the well-known Life And Death label, owned by Dj Tennis. An uncountable number of artists around the globe played it during the best summer festivals of that year.
