It is undoubtedly the busiest and craziest week of the year. From Sunday to Sunday, Barcelona turns upside down to welcome clubbers from all over the world and all (yes, practically all) the best house and techno artists on the planet. Does Barcelona already have the capacity to welcome so many ravers? The answer is yes. Parties of all kinds await us: day clubs, nightclubs, open-air locations, boat events, rooftop parties … Come and see what Barcelona has prepared for this OFF Week 2018.
15+1. Private Castle
This secret place, located in the upper area of Barcelona, will host the parties of the well-known Vatos Locos label, led by the great Hector, Chad Andrew and David GTronic, and Studio 76. Unmissable event!
15. Hotel Barcelona Center
Located in a central area, near Plaza Catalunya, the rooftop of the Barcelona Center will make you touch the sky with Mother Recordings (with Dennis Cruz), Black Wood Records and Atik Electronik. Always in the evening, to experience the sunset of Barcelona with the best electronic music.
14. Up & Down
In the southern part of the city, there is an underground club with ideal characteristics for raving. Good sound system, great lighting and a wide and spacious dance floor are the ideal equation to dance to the rhythms of House District with Mall Grab, Levon Vincent and more DJs.
13. CDM Beach Club
The great Café Del Mar brand is already established in Barcelona and its Beach Club will host three major parties during the OFF Week, all during the day. Above the rest stands out the Swing event with Andrés Campo, Los Suruba, Marco Faraone, Skream and wAFF. There will also be HEX and Lapsus Music events.
12. This Side UP
Located on the famous Av. Paral·lel, this micro-club also offers an almost physical connection between the audience and the artist. With two years of life already behind it, This Side UP is ready to host showcases by Quality Time and Yaya (with Eduardo de la Calle) and PoleGroup (with Reeko, Lewis Fautzi and Exium among others).
11. Sala Upload
Located in the Plaza Mayor of Poble Espanyol, this cosy club will allow you to dance very close to the DJ with an impeccable Funktion One audio framework. Vibrations to the maximum and a lot of madness in this floor with little capacity and many carats of high-quality music. Ibiza Voice (with Darius Syrossian), Detroit Love Barcelona (with Waajeed, Stacey Pullen and some other big names coming from the day-time event), My Love Is Sistematic (with Fur Coat and Rodriguez Jr.), Locked (with Raxon) and HEX (with François X) will command it.
10. OFF at Fòrum
Parc del Fòrum is a large outdoor space located northeast of the city where musical and cultural macro events are held throughout the year. Renowned festivals such as Primavera Sound, Cruïlla or DGTL Barcelona take place at Forum. During the OFF Week, we will enjoy there the parties of A:rpia:r, Afterlife, Diynamic, Circoloco and FRRC, with artists such as Tale Of Us, Stephan Bodzin, Ricardo Villalobos or Solomun among many others.
9. R33
The best club in Las Ramblas, which is probably the most famous street in Barcelona. With a long and narrow track, R33 also has a good sound system and an underground club vibe ideal for electronic proposals of different genres. Tronic (with Christian Smith), Terminal M Records (with Monika Kruse), No. 19 Music (with Art Department) and Odd Recordings (with Ramiro López) are the festivities it will host.
8. City Hall
It is one of the clubs with more history. For years it has hosted the Club4 parties, reference of Thursdays in town and now renamed BClub, and the Happy Techno ones. Los Muchachos (with Technasia), Elements (with Dave Clarke and Rebekah), Mindshake (with Carlo Lio b2b Nathan Barato), We Are Not Alone (with Ellen Allien) and an All Night Long by Patrick Topping are the proposals for the OFF Week.
7. Plaza Mayor
It’s one of the most visited destinations by the tourists. Poble Espanyol simulates being an old Spanish classic town, with its narrow streets, its bars, its small shops, its church, its squares … and yes, its Plaza Mayor. It hosts from big concerts like the one of The Chemical Brothers to daytime parties like Brunch -in Barcelona. During the OFF Week, it will be the home of It’s All About The Music (the MusicOn party curated by Marco Carola) and Innervisions (Dixon‘s and Âme‘s party and label).
6. INPUT High Fidelity Dance Club
The best sound in the city. And, for sure, also the best visual effects. An imposing Funktion One system with a sub-woofer of two meters high and a panel of LEDs that surrounds the entire stage, INPUT has been erected over the last two years as the reference club of Barcelona. The SCI+TEC party will gather Dubfire, Carlo Lio, Paul Ritch (live) and Nicole Moudaber among many others.
5. Razzmatazz
The biggest club in the city. In Poblenou district and with five rooms, multiple parties and multiple proposals, Razzmatazz is both a concert hall and a nightclub, both with commercial music and with alternative electronica. In the OFF Week, its three nights over the weekend are called This Is Hardcore. They will include artists like Ben Sims, Vitalic (live), Jennifer Cardini, Daniel Avery, Roman Flügel, Dax J, Surgeon (hardware live), Dave Clarke, FJAAK and Radio Slave.
4. El Monasterio
Located in one of the highest areas of Poble Espanyol, El Monasterio is probably the most suitable place for a familiar party. Located in the upper part of Montjuic, it offers a complete experience of fusion between artist and audience. An ideal space that joins the Plaza Mayor as a complementary stage of the Innervisions event and that will also host the parties Woomoon (with Audiofly), Trip (with Nina Kraviz) and Detroit Love (with Carl Craig and Octave One).
3. Creaductions Arena
Some love it and others hate it, but the truth is that bullfighting is a practice that has always been related to Spain. The most important bullring in Barcelona is La Monumental, which is currently used for cultural events. And yes, among them is electronic music. Dimensions Festival (with Kerri Chandler and Hunee), John Digweed’s and Sasha’s party, ANTS (with Andrea Oliva b2b Davide Squillace and Butch b2b Richy Ahmed b2b Skream) and Together Barcelona! (with Chase and Status) are the four scheduled events, always in the evening.
2. La Terrrazza
For all those who visit Barcelona, La Terrrazza has become a MUST. Also located within the Poble Espanyol, this nightclub offers something unique and different: open-air night events. It’s opened throughout the summer season and during OFF Week is one of the key points. There, we’ll enjoy SIGHT (with Fur Coat and Nick Curly), NONSTOP & D-Floor (with Chus & Ceballos), Warriors Do Not Sleep (with Steve Lawler and Anja Schneider), Flying Circus (with Audiofly and Andhim), Katermukke (with Dirty Doering), Hungry Music (with Worakls at the head) and Secretsundaze (with Ryan Elliott and Tama Sumo).
1. Pacha Barcelona
Who doesn’t know Pacha? In Barcelona, the brand of the two cherries is also present. Next to the beach, in the Olympic Port, Pacha has two interior rooms (the main one and a smaller one) plenty of decibels and a comfortable terrace to relax. Normally, Sunday is the day destined to electronic music (basically to techno), but during the OFF Week, they will make us dance from Tuesday. As examples, Umamii (with Uner), Spectrum (with Joris Voorn and Kölsch), Circus (with Andrea Oliva and Fur Coat), Moon Harbour (with Matthias Tanzmann), Vagabundos (with Luciano and Guti (live)) and Cocoon (with Sven Väth).
