By Paco Cavaller

September 05, 2018

Awesome, right? It would be necessary to travel back a bit long back in time to find such another intense month as powerful as this one in Valencia. In addition, all these good artists are distributed throughout all kinds of events: underground clubs, daytime and outdoor festivals, pool-parties… Valencia offers everything, and, on Xceed, we show it all to you. It couldn’t be otherwise. Green light to the month of September!

10. Yung Felix @ Erasmus Party (Rumbo 144)

Valencia is one of the Erasmus cities par excellence and in September it always prepares the best welcomes for all students who have just arrived in town. Rumbo 144 wasn’t going to be less and, knowing that hip-hop is a global trend, has managed to bring the Dutchman Yung Felix, one of the most popular artists right now. A big plan only for people with a good form!

9. Les Castizos @ Mya

Víctor Roldán and Fali Sotomayor make up Les Castizos, one of the most important national duos on the electronic scene. They have performed in all the major festivals of the country, but their appearances in smaller clubs always bring a touch of closeness that, added to their usual madness, results in a unique and unrepeatable equation. If you’ve seen them before, try again and you’ll see how it changes. You don’t know them yet? You will not regret going to see them!

When: Saturday, September 29thWhere: MyaLineup: Les Castizos and more

8. DJ Nano @ Mya

Another great national name is DJ Nano. It is the largest one in the remember music scene. Classics of all times, dancefloor-burners of different generations, hits of each of the summers… DJ Nano is the leader of Oro Viejo and it seems that years don’t pass in his library. Dancing to him means travelling through time with the greatest best-sellers of dance and makina genres. A 100% Spanish product, ideal to discover where the current clubbing culture comes from.

7. Nastia @ WAX (Three)

Recent movements in the night of Valencia have turned the old La3 into Three and the old Agenda into the new La3. Well, Three celebrates its opening and got in its line-up big names of the international techno scene. Among them, the Ukrainian Nastia, one of the DJs with more personality when selecting music. A DJ set by Nastia could perfectly fit both in a big festival and in a small town club in Eastern Europe. Well, and in Valencia, of course.

When: Friday, September 28thWhere: ThreeLineup: Nastia, Pau Pérez and Five Points

6. Official Erasmus Welcome Party @ L’Umbracle

3. WOW Official Erasmus Welcome Pool Party @ PROA

It couldn’t miss. After 8 years and 15 editions behind it, the WOW Pool Party will once again receive the Erasmus students in Valencia with the craziest party in the student world. Water guns… No! We wanted to say vodka guns. And Jägermeister guns. And tequila guns. Let’s use the bikini, the trikini… Let’s drink Martini! From 2 pm to 3 am, the best electronic music (of all genres and tastes) will sound in the pool of PROA, a club located at the beginning of Playa de la Marina, in Pobla de Farnals. How to get there? Very simple: the buses leave from the Rounded Building at the Ramon Llull University, in Tarongers, every half hour. Check schedules and reserve your place here.

2. Richie Hawtin @ Barraca

M!NUS boss doesn’t need any introduction. He decided to make minimal techno become a universal sound decades ago and there he is, still working on his proposal and standing on the top, destroying the soles of the shoes wherever he goes. The next September 15th, we can enjoy him at Barraca, the club with the biggest name and history in the Valencian techno scene. It will be one of the most magical and memorable nights of the month. That’s right: only for true dark sounds lovers.

When: Saturday, September 15thWhere: BarracaLineup: Richie Hawtin, Rafa Siles, Victor Roma, Nacho Gil, Lucas Cabello, Rosper, Alex Font, Felipe Perdomo, Simarro Vera and Cristian Contreras

1. Jeff Mills @ WAX (Three)

As we said, the old La3 is now called Three. One of the most attractive series that it will host is called WAX and they will be inaugurated by The Wizard. Jeff Mills was nicknamed this way for his millimetric and precise skills during his shows, which ride between the DJ set and the live act since he applies the bases with drum-machines and TR-808. His sound? Pure, hard and dark techno with an industrial look, fast pace and a constant punch. He’s aggressive as no one else. You dare?

When: Saturday, September 14thWhere: ThreeLineup: Jeff Mills, Guiamm and Five Points
