Soundeat: the day party that is overwhelming Barcelona

By Eugenio Olmeda

March 29, 2018

From Xceed, we always want to keep you informed about the best events brewing throughout Spain. With 13 editions behind it, Soundeat was born as an event that occupies one of the “voids” of Barcelona’s music scene, the daytime hours of Saturday, from 1:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Formerly, this time frame was exclusively destined to soft music sessions. For this reason, in Barcelona someone realized that people demand electronics music at all hours and because of this lack, Soundeat came to life, an event that combines sun’s rays, good vibes and an exquisite musical selection.

The first event of this year was the 3rd of March with Royksopp as the headliner of the party, accompanied by Tim Sweeney and Roy Costa. A few days ago, on March 24th, Soundeat cranked out another event that has seen one of the most fashionable duo of the house and funky circuit of the moment, the Dutch Detroit Swindle, supported by Chaos in the CBD, Akkan and Lucient.

And now, let’s get to the point. Let’s speak about what is most interesting for us. The next event of Soundeat, scheduled for the 21st of April, where we can enjoy another formidable line up. Palms Trax and Dekmantel Soundsystem, standard-bearers of one of the most talked-about festivals of the last years, the Dekmantel Festival in Amsterdam, will land to the Catalan’s capital. Advocates of many warm ups of really big artists, these DJs will count on the support of Arnau Obiols and Troya Modet. It is guaranteed that this event will not be suitable for those who settle for the usual music.

If you want to break through the established festivals’ rules and the same musical offers typical of the scene, do not hesitate, Soundeat is your choice… And for those who always want more, we suggest to have a look to our website or app in order to see which are the best events coming up in the next weeks.

Here we leave you a set of Palms Trax. Enjoy and SEE YOU ON THE DANCE FLOOR!
