From Sunday to Sunday and at all hours there will be parties and music in Barcelona. Of course, we are talking about the OFF Week, which takes place from June 10th to June 17th in this year 2018. It will bring with it an endlesss list of events of all kinds, all of them related to electronic music. SIGHT normally celebrates its parties at Pacha Barcelona, but it will face this special week joining forces with RRR in La Terrrazza to organize a day-time event (from 5 pm to 11:30 pm) on Wednesday at the magical Poble Espanyol de Montjuic.

The musical quality of the event is guaranteed. The Venezuelan duo Fur Coat has already shown throughout its history an absolute mastery of the most melodic skins of techno. Thanks to Damian Lazarus, they debuted in Crosstown Rebels. With 10 years of productions behind them, their deep and intimate sounds have set a tone of increasing fame in the scene. However, it’s gonna get  more interesting (if possible) to see them in the afternoon, in a less usual set time in which they should bet on friendlier, less aggressive sounds.

Another duo of a very different character will also be at this venue. Solardo are the most daring characters inside the tech-house scene. The Manchester-born are synonymous with freshness, madness and excitement, ideal ingredients for an outdoor party in a city like Barcelona. Hot Creations, elrow and Toolroom Records are some of the labels that have unleashed their rhythms. With them, it seems impossible not to dance.

Nick Curly is one of the leading makers of electronic music in the United Kingdom. He owns 8bit Records, one of the biggest giants in the industry, although he has published music on Drumcode, Truesoul, Knee Deep In Sound, Second State and Saved among others. Combining new technologies with analogue DJing is one of his greatest virtues. His sets are knitted with transversal elements that allow the audience to enjoy the vibe of house and the aggressiveness of bass techno in the same measure.

The German Steve Bug took his first steps while the full swing of German acid house. With Poker Flat Recordings, he gave a blow to the minimalist club scene bringing strength and darkness to the funk and groove genres, obtaining a new, unusual and very attractive sound. Bug is famous for his appearances in historical venues such as Fuse Brussels or Fabric London.

Together with all of them, Alex Kennon and Andre Buljat will perform a b2b set. Both are based in Barcelona and their beginnings in musical training can be traced back to a very young age. From funk, punk-rock and electronic rock to hip-hop or rap, the influences of both have multiple origins, something that turns their musical showcases into a product of really high value. With them, the line-up of this amazing event is complete. This is, without a doubt, the best way to start OFF Week on Wednesday in the best way possible: DANCING.
