Scorching techno with Ansome (live) at City Hall

By Fran Escudero

August 02, 2017

This Friday 4th of August you can’t miss this ulterior Kindcrime mayhem presenting nothing less than the banging Ansome (live) in the prestigious City Hall.

London producer, characteristic for his hardcore attitude, no-mercy, analogue-aided take on Techno: The pagan raver Kieran, in art Ansome, is one of the most relevant Industrial producers and live acts of the moment, thanks to his dramatic structuring, finest killer textures making and an unmatched live set-up, with releases on Mord Records, the Industrial mecca PercTrax and on his own -vinyl only- imprint South London Analogue Material, a platform for both his own releases and those of like-minded producers (he was also running his previous label Discos Dead from 2013 to 2014).

Always unleashing his dancefloor mass destruction malicious capability both live and in the studio, Ansome emerges as one of the noisiest, pursuing gritty sonics through hardware-based, industrial-leaning experimentator that, as we said, has been well-documented in videos of his live sets. So this Cornish ex-pat who now resides in south London is the man who puts the dark in Poldark, combining a warm persona with a deadly serious attitude to his music. Made by consistently changing his sound as new equipment and techniques are utilised in his studio, the album ‘Stowaway’, released in PercTrax, mixes up the type of 5am club rippers he is known for with an exploration of more spacious and atmospheric tracks.
