When Rumours by the Lake takes over Elgin Valley, the music hits as perfectly as the scenery around it. One of the most stunning lakeside parties is about to unfold, and you can practically taste the anticipation. From 6–8 February 2026, the festival welcomes its loyal campers to indulge in open-air sessions at the height of electronic music.
The lineup this year leans into the Berlin–Cape Town connection, anchored by Dirty Doering. As head of Katermukke and a Bar 25 veteran, his sets are as versatile as his knee-high white socks, swinging between melodic house and driving techno. On top of that, he’ll be joined by Pauli Pocket, the Kater Blau resident whose sets are famously rhythmic and immersive, blending indie dance and techno that will work ideally in a lakeside setting.
The Hamburg scene will be making an appearance through Najeh, a Hamburg‑based DJ and producer, founder of Café Sofa, whose long‑running residency at PAL has largely shaped his sound. And if you’re craving something with a bit more grit, Theodor Luv will bring that minimalist take nodding towards Detroit’s raw edge.
Delivering a different texture to the valley, Jean Mauj (the mind behind Hungry4) bridges the gap between old-school house and modern techno. Whilst for those who want a bit more groove, Soulfunk and Lila Groove, the duo behind Berlin’s Funky Beat, will be delivering microhouse vibes at its very best.
As per, local support is equally curated, featuring names like Uhuru, Ryan Hill, and Myeru, with Friday kicking off with a Fool’s Gold Takeover, where Turbo Diesel, Kitty, Stefan du Preez and many set the pace for the 48 hours ahead.
With more names shaping this tempting line-up, the weekend adventure is set, and it’s only a few days away. The lakeside doesn’t call often, so grab your tickets before it’s too late!
