Set against a beautiful natural backdrop, Rumours by the Lake 2025, the South African-based festival, returns from November 21st to 23rd with an exciting weekend built around techno and house music. Taking place in the lush surroundings of Elgin Grabouw, the event has become a highlight for those who like their electronic music with a slight feeling of venture.
Headlining this compelling edition is Konfusia — part of the Stil vor Talent family — who will conquer the stage with a deep, melodic approach to techno that blends Berlin influences with a cinematic touch. Joining her on the booth will be a strong roster of local talent, including Cape Town-based Miles From Mars, Robbie Dinnie and Kong, three artists rightly contributing to South Africa’s underground scene; as well as mixers Almero or Daryn Steytler, who’ll bring high-energy selections to the experience.
