“Moni! Moni! Moni!” were yelling the fans. The entire crowd was in deep and true extasy when Monika Kruse was performing for her “Monika Kruse & Friends” event in the occasion of the Off Week 2017 at club R33. On Thursday 15th June, the Berlin DJ invited her friends UNER, Victor Ruiz and Andrea Oliva for an exclusive b2b. Bad luck, for cause of sickness, Andrea Oliva couldn’t make it to the party. We won’t say that we haven’t missed his presence, but let’s admit that the shining DJ lady helped us forget about it.

The vibe was hot in the 300 capacity club located in the center of Barcelona, on La Rambla.

One word needed to sum up the night : amazing. Victor Ruiz set a particular and great mood for the evening thanks to his personal, melodic, strong and deep techno coming straight from Brazil. He delivered a nice warm up, which is not always an easy task.

Thanks to everybody that came to see me playing at R33, and thanks to @monikakrusedj for inviting me to join the party. I loved it! ?

Around 2am was UNER time to come on stage and show his fellow countrymen what he was made of. The DJ is one of the most significant names of the new generation of Spanish techno producer. He recorded on many labels such as Barraca Music, Get Physical, 2020 vision, CR2… and the well-known Diynamic in which he impressed the audience in 2009 with his ‘Raw Sweat’ EP. On this night, he showed off his skills : his personal twisted and groovy techno spiced with drums, bass and vocal of his own way.

Then came the long-awaited moment for Monika Kruse to dazzle R33’s dance floor. The long-standing DJ, producer and boss of her own label Terminal M, shared once again her broad and deep love for music with her fans. We highlight the techno artist’s capacity to transmit her love to the audience, smiling and dancing from behind the decks while performing her punchy and mesmerizing techno set. That’s the moment we reached the peak of this crazy night.

At 5.30am the light turned on announcing the end of the insane party, but that wasn’t enough to stop the legend. She kept playing for 15min long, illuminated by the violent lightings; in total synergy with her public, she was shinning brighter than ever. In a few words: we love you Monika!
