New Year’s in Italy 2026: The top parties to finish the year dancing

We’re used to the northern hubs stealing the spotlight, but Italy’s commitment to quality electronic music remains rock solid, especially for the New Year’s Eve transition. The variety of choice is the story here, and this unique balance means we have the essential guide of events you need to close out the year with purpose.

31st December – Amore Hard NYE (Giove)

Italy’s Amore Festival is known for its intense programming, and their Amore Hard NYE event lands no softer with a 12-hour mission into the harder end of the electronic arena. Taking over the massive Cyborg Disco, the lineup delivers an uncompromising exploration of hardcore, industrial, and hard techno, perfectly reflecting the original rave ethos. Headliners like Noize Suppressor and DJ Distortion & MC Raw (Rotterdam Terror Corps) guarantee an escalation of energy.

31st December – WITH LOVE Winterformat (Catania)

For those looking to trade the winter for heat, Sicily’s WITH LOVE Winterformat in Catania is your solution, but don’t expect a breezy vibe. The event promoters are throwing down a gauntlet for New Year’s Eve, securing the most demanding names in the hard techno scene. France’s Basswell, known for his powerful sound, headlines the night. Joining him is the force of KRUELTY, who bridges hardstyle and industrial techno, alongside local standout CHRS and many more.

31st December – ANARCHY x MOAB (Rome)

Rome is bringing in the big guns as Anarchy and MOAB join forces. Landing in the new year at Borgo della Mistica, DVS1 returns with his signature “Wall of Sound” style mixing across four decks. The night shifts into gear, featuring Binh and DJ Red, alongside a live hardware performance from Asymtote. Local support comes from Dario Lem and Enrico Vivaldi, and the lineup goes on. Set in a unique industrial-rural space on the city’s edge, it’s a partisan’s alternative to the standard NYE circuit.

31st December – Sound Department (Taranto)

Taranto’s Sound Department is hosting a two-stage marathon this New Year. The JACKZONE stage delivers hypnotic, deep techno, led by Japanese house and techno pioneer Satoshi Tomiie, alongside the compelling sound of Adiel and more. Simultaneously, the LANDSCAPE stage provides more of an industrial takeover, headlined by hard dance phenomenon Restricted, and supported by more, including the hard techno fury of Eczodia as well as Cancel. Equally catered to the purist and the harder sound dedicated.

31st December – Basic New Year’s (Naples)

The not-so-basic Basic Club in Naples is dedicating its New Year’s Eve celebration entirely to the house and disco heads, focusing on local talent rather than international fluff. For this big transition into 2026, the whole night has been commanded to Dirty Channels, the dynamic Milanese duo known for lodging soulful, groovy edits on the booth, bridging that disco and classic house music everyone loves to boogie to.
