The titans of Techno are returning to Portugal’s northern coast. After two decades of defining the Iberian electronic music turf, NEOPOP Festival 2026 has officially dropped its full lineup, marking a monumental 20th anniversary.
From August 6th to 8th, the Forte de Santiago da Barra, Viana do Castelo, Portugal, will once again be providing safe grounds for those who like to pair heavy kick drums and a unique atmosphere. This year, with the densest program yet, the NEOPOP is doubling down on its legacy with a very special programme defined by rare back-to-back performances that no one in their right mind would want to miss.
Leading this particular charge is a heavyweight meeting between Ben Klock and Rødhåd, promising a marathon of deep Berlin sound, alongside the industrial precision and looping techno of Ben Sims b2b Chris Liebing, as well as a world-class pairing of Joseph Capriati and Luke Slater. The contemporary scene is equally well-represented, with rebellious genre-blurring sets from BIIA b2b Patrick Mason and the fierce energy of Ellen Allien b2b Salomé.
Beyond the B2Bs, the live element remains a cornerstone of the NEOPOP experience through the hardware wizardry of Mathew Jonson, Octave One, and (of course!) Jeff Mills. Whether it’s the raw techno of Dax J, the dizzying array of different sounds coming from Goldie, or the groovy selections of DJ Gigola, the 2026 edition is set to be the festival’s most refined chapter yet. With many more names to discover on the bill, secure your place at the fortress and be part of two decades of underground history.
