A new concept. The live format is the fundamental premise. This Thursday, Modern Sound Culture will born. A new project that focuses on “refined, high-elaboration and very precise” electronic music. The concert format is the objective. Short events, approximately two hours long, one Thursday per month, in one of the two Apolo rooms and in a friendly afterwork schedule. Events that will be oriented to an audience “adept to dance but also to an attentive listening”.

This whole process will begin this Thursday, 22of March , with the performance of Stavroz, a Belgian revolutionary group that defends the chilling mood of jazz, gipsy and soul genres by producing tracks with the use of electronic softwares. Their ethnic, acoustic and organic sounds inject an absolute intensity into the audience.

The next two dates of Modern Sound Culture are also confirmed. On April 5, it will be the Danish artists WhoMadeWho the responsible to make vibrating Apolo with their intense and profound musical proposal. Their voices have been remixed by the best DJ’s in the world and attending one of their live sets is without doubts an unforgettable experience. May 24 will be the day of Rone, able to offer to his audience a complete listening experience in which the melodies are the common thread. With these first three dates, Modern Sound Culture promises a high-quality musical journey to the city of Barcelona which is getting more and more the main supporter of these kind of live shows.
