Discover Valencia’s new electronic music hub: La Rítmica

Valencia has never been shy about its relationship with electronic music. With an instinctive need for late nights and shared dance floor energy, the city has been demanding more than just another club. And somewhere on the industrial edge of Camí de la Marjal, that “more” finally takes shape in the form of La Rítmica.

La Rítmica evolved from a mere party into its own dedicated space. It started as an event and was built by a community that kept on expanding, until the walls of the temporary venue could no longer contain it. Now, established in the depths of Albal, an industrial club welcomes those who treat music not as entertainment but as a legit form of therapy.

Inside, their mission runs through everything. Phones stay off the dance floor as they insist that presence is key in order to fully witness the music. By all means, their goal is simple. To create a space where everyone looks after themselves and each other, with respect sitting firmly at the top of the rule book. This atmosphere, coupled with a soft spot for minimal, techno and experimental sounds, welcomes the true devotees. The ones who come to disconnect and let the music be the sole reason they gathered in the first place.

As the space begins to feel like a home for a growing community, sound still remains the backbone of La Rítmica, integrated right into the architecture. The club currently revolves around the Sine room, but will soon expand into a three-room ecosystem: Sine, Triangle, and Square, each named after the foundational wave forms that shaped electronic music.

Sine, the main room, embodies purity and perfection; Triangle, the terrace that only opens during the warmer seasons, embodies harmony and balance; and Square, set to open in the near future, delivers a manifestation of strength and power. All concepts are directly reflected in the music curated for each significant space.

With La Rítmica already up and running every weekend, the aficionados of the scene have already been dancing with artists such as Mathew Jonson, Temudo and more. And for those who want to go all in, a monthly pass unlocks the full experience, giving access to every event of the month, free drinks, festival discounts, and even private masterclasses. What’s next? Check what’s on, their December agenda is ready to deliver.

6th December – Cristi Cons & Praslea

The weekend kicks off with a proper dive into the Romanian school. Headlining are Cristi Cons and Prâslea, delivering the signature minimal house and techno they are known for. Cons, marked for weaving the cello into his production, joins Prâslea (boss of Understand records) to promise a set of hypnotic blends, closing the lineup among the local selectors Aaron Gehrig, Varis, and Pizzicatto.

13th December – Danza Futura (Border One)

Here, prepare for a more hypnotic turn as Border One takes the booth. His techno mental rhythms and late-night mentality all the way from Fuse, have everything needed to pull the room into another dimension. Resident AAA+ alongside Danza Futura residents Andrés Dias and PBL, keep things deep and driving, pushing the night further into the underground.

20th December – Barac

A long-awaited session with another Romanian staple, Barac, who’s become a quiet force in the minimal world. Known for long sets that unfold slowly, he mixes those magnetic basslines that lock you in straight in. This one’s built for dancers who know how to stay in for hours.

25th December – DJ Nobu

A proper gift for the techno purists. DJ Nobu lands at La Rítmica for an epic Christmas night of deep techno. The Japanese selector is known for slipping between hypnosis and pressure, making this one of December’s most anticipated nights. With AAA+, Aaron Gehrig, and Naturil setting the pace, the night leans into something promising.
