Puglia’s Easter Monday is shedding its predictable skin. On Mon 6th April, the fifth edition of IN THE LAND, the Pasquetta SpiRituale, takes over the historic Masseria Barsentum in Putignano, trading standard picnic tropes for a curated dive into electronic culture and collective consciousness.
Sprawling across olive groves, the festival invites its dancers into a space where the underground scene meets Italian soil with a philosophy that strips back to the essentials: feeling, breathing, and being – a raw connection between the frequency of the music and the heritage of a beautiful land.
This specific journey is led by the one and only Toy Tonics crew, with Kapote and Davide-Dev bringing their signature high-end disco and house grit to the booth. They are joined by an unbeatable roster including Innocent Soul, Sgamo, Adriana Live and many more, ensuring the groove keeps you on the dancefloor from high noon until midnight.
Beyond the booth, the crew want to make sure you’re feeling your best with Electro Yoga at sunset. Guided by Valentina Taglioli and Francesco Paulillo, the session syncs movement to ambient electronic textures as the sun dips behind the horizon. Although I feel at this point we’ve already locked onto your attention, it’s worth adding that between sets, you can look forward to some Pugliese excellence from the legendary Nunzia di Bari Vecchia, providing the caloric fuel needed for a twelve-hour stint in the fields.
