Milan Design Week has always been a creative explosion—but now it comes with a proper soundtrack. Fabbrica Design Week 2025 returns from April 8 to 13, transforming the industrial playground of Fabbrica del Vapore into a free electronic music festival in the heart of the city.
Set inside a vast, repurposed industrial space that now houses exhibitions and creative startups, the event fuses Milan’s cultural engine with the pulse of global club culture. The concept? Art by day, dancefloor by night. And in just its second year, Fabbrica is already raising the bar.
The need for music and partying on the side of the exhibitions and presentations is always very high. It was a great opportunity to start the Fabbrica Design Week music festival last year.

In 2024, Fabbrica drew over 60,000 people between installations and dancefloors. This year, it doubles down with two stages, a bigger production, and a genre-spanning lineup that reflects the diversity of the scene.
At the top of the bill is Richie Hawtin, the pioneering techno minimalist whose precision and vision have shaped the underground for decades. Joining him is Chloé Caillet, known for her fluid sets that weave disco, house, and funk with effortless flair. Marcel Dettmann, Berghain’s longtime resident, brings pure Berlin muscle. Completing this top line-up are Radio Slave, the Toy Tonics crew, Kamma & Masalo, or Quest, among many Italian rising talents.
This year we stepped up the game and added a second stage and have a fantastic lineup. We still have the luck of finding partners to keep it free. It’s gonna be a whole week of fantastic electronic music of all shades from techno to disco, house to funkier sounds!

Music runs from 6PM until 1AM every night, with no tickets (only free guest lists) —just a commitment to quality sound and good energy. Whether you’re fresh out of a design opening or heading straight for the dancefloor, Fabbrica Design Week 2025 offers a space where Milan’s creative and club cultures collide, openly and loudly!
