While the rest of the city gets tangled in the usual noise, those in the know are heading to the outskirts of Barcelona. On Sat 11th April, Día de Cavas returns as the sound genesis of LA ASO, and now with a new top-tier partner: SlapFunk. Landing in Cavas Vilarnau for its fourth edition, it proves once again that some of the best dancefloors in Catalonia aren’t on concrete, but on vineyard soil.

We know tastes can vary, especially within club culture. But an open-air house oasis, where a vineyard’s natural elegance meets sonic standards built for real house enthusiasts, is an absolute no-brainer. Last year was proof, and this year the stakes are raised with the addition of Amsterdam’s SlapFunk joining the equation alongside host party-makers, LA ASO. Known for their raw, “tough-house” aesthetic and minimal grooves, the crew is set to bring an important edge to the day.

The two crews have come together to stage a 12-hour dance reunion that moves from sun-soaked daytime rhythms into something deeper after dark, carrying the night owls through until 3 am. The lineup remains under wraps, however, so keep your eyes peeled for the drop on XCEED. But if the bill mirrors previous editions with SlapFunk thrown into the mix, expect a soundtrack as crisp and refreshing as the glass in your hand.

And in case you were worrying already: to keep the logistics effortless for your gastronomic and musical experience at this Día de Cavas edition, dedicated bus shuttles from Barcelona are being organized, meaning you’ve got few excuses left. So, whether for the refined house music or the delicious cava, get yourself down to the winery. Spots are limited! Secure your tickets now before it’s too late.
