The festival will host a ten-day marathon on the occasion of its tenth anniversary with an ideal mix of established and upcoming acts
One of the most desired moments for anyone fond of the underground and musical eclecticism has arrived. Dekmantel 2024 has just taken its first steps by announcing the more than 150 acts that will bring its ten-year history to life from 26 July to 4 August in Amsterdam.
Dekmantel Ten is destined to be much more than a regular festival. The kick-off will take place at Het HEM, a former factory in Zaandam, where the festival will be held for three rounds with different visions of the genre. On the remaining days, the programme will be enriched with workshops, panels, live radio and much more.
The core festival experience will take place from August 2-4 at the Amsterdamse Bos, its traditional home for the past decade. The spectrum of this anniversary is a balanced mix of the essential and the revolutionary. The likes of Joy Orbison, DVS1, Jeff Mills, Oscar Mulero, Helena Hauff, and Bicep (Live) are joined by the freshness of Talismann, Sandrien, Amoral, upsammy or Quelza, to name a few.
Also worthy of note are the formations that will set the beat at Dekmantel 2024 with the presence of CEM & Mama Snake, Ogazón & Ryan Elliot, Mala Junta (D.Dan, Hyperaktivist & DJ TOOL), Karenn (Surgeon & Blawan), Mad Miran & Stranger or Safety Trance & Toccororo. In short, a line-up synonym for versatility, a bold statement of unique identity that seeks new horizons beyond the hard wave currently sweeping through techno.
Ticket sales for pre-registered begin on January 25 at 11:00 CET. General festival tickets will go on sale on January 26 at the same time. Both will be available via Dekmantel’s official website.
