The grassroots movement – led by Vivie-Ann aka BLOND:ISH focused on wiping out single-use plastic in the music industry – has launched a global event series that will mark a milestone on their journey. With Earth Day’s official theme this year selected as “Planet Vs. Plastics”, and Earth Night hailing as DJs4CA’s Earth Day echoing concept for the nightlife sector, this global weekender will impose itself as a go-to for communities worldwide! A weekend kickstarting in the vibrant alleys of Barcelona, taking you and your long-distance friend to share experience from the bustling avenues of Los Angeles! From shore to shore, activating the amount of 4 cities in total in only 48 hours. Bye Bye Plastic’ Earth Day & Night Weekender promises a real travel through the time & space eco-continuum. Each city unveils its distinct commitment with sustainability-driven activities, ranging from creative sessions for the music producers, to powerful think-tanks and surprise happenings. Any hour of the day, prepare to be well taken care of through a curated selection of DJs championing the cause with every note.

The program in Barcelona will take place at the rooftop of Norrsken House with workshops and activities including such as morning meditations by SUCO Sessions, Climate Beatmaking by Madame Gandhi and dj sets from Cabana Libre and Samsön.
