Beer prices around the world: the cheapest and the most expensive

By Bonnie Lener

As pints are poured in bars and restaurants in every single part of the world, you surely wonder once, how much does it cost to get a beer in a local pub of a given city. Well, here’s some information you might value. Deutsche Bank analysts have been collecting data and we’ll share with you the results of their study for the beer cost in 2017 around the world.

If you happen to be a massive beer lover, some cities might suit you very well and some others not that much (or not at all, run far away). The cheapest beers can be found in Prague ($1.30), Johannesburg ($1.70), and Lisbon, Portugal ($2.00). On the other hand, if you only swear by beer, you’ll not head to Oslo, Norway ($9.90), Singapore ($9.00), or Hong Kong ($7.70) anytime soon. Way too expensive.
