After a record-breaking edition under their belt welcoming 500,000 global visitors in 2023, Amsterdam Dance Event is certainly one of the world’s largest and most influential club-based festival and conference for electronic music. That’s why, despite being half a year away until the event kicks off, the latest news of the 2024’s ADE have us pumped up.
As you may know, this electronic music gathering brings together professionals and fans from around the world, not only to dance in (very) rare locations to the beats of the most sought-after DJs but also to learn and spread knowledge with a large program of keynote speeches featuring key industry players. As we mark the second week of October in our calendars, we already know the first names that will be sharing their thoughts and experiences in front of the audience.
Superstar hitmakers Timbaland and Martin Garrix are set to share the stage at ADE Pro for a creative conversation not to be missed. Additionally, ADE’s cross-cultural partnership with Nigerian music and art platform HOMECOMING introduces the event’s founder, Grace Ladoja, who will shed light on the Nigerian cultural scene and opportunities for African artists. HOMECOMING will also lead African-facing curation, programming, and initiatives across ADE 2024. On top of that, one of London’s most famous and influential clubs, fabric, celebrates its 25th anniversary at ADE Pro this year with frequent collaborator Laurent Garnier, both joining forces once again to curate their infamous fabric mixes showcasing the club’s long musical legacy.
Furthermore, the first promoters and organizers have confirmed their participation on the road to ADE Festival 2024. Tomorrowland celebrates its 20th anniversary with Our Story and a secret lineup at Ziggo Dome, and AMF returns to the ArenA on ADE Saturday. Awakenings, DGTL, Intercell, Loveland, Shelter, Thuishaven, and Zeezout are set to host ADE events this year, with more announcements to follow soon.
Will you miss this opportunity to be –once again– in the epicenter of the electronic music industry? If not, you better mark your calendars: see you in Amsterdam from the 16th until the 20th of October!
