10 tracks picked by Kolombo

June 12, 2020

When the weight of the quarantine fell on the scene, many artists said that “in these months, we will have more music than ever”. After three months of confinement, we begin to see the consequences. The digital profiles of the labels are on fire and the online platforms receive more traffic, plays and downloads than ever before.

To put the pin on the week, today Friday, we wanted to ask a guy who is celebrating for 10 recommendations. He’s Olivier Gregoire, although you’ re probably more familiar with his alias Kolombo. The Belgian producer has previously released his works on major labels such as Kompakt Records, Turbo Recordings or Noir Music. Today, he is releasing on Otherwise Records his new Remember EP, formed by the original title-track, a dub version and a second work called “Enable”. And, to celebrate, what 10 tracks would Kolombo mix in a dj set today?

1. Florian Busse – Tomb

A tune from 4 or 5 years ago. It still burns the dance floor, though.

2. Marcellus (UK) – Control (2020 Vision Remix)

I just love the dirty and heavy beats on every track Marcellus does.

3. Bontan – Dancing

Bontan never disappoints! One of my favourite producers at the moment.

4. MANT – Truth & Love

MANT got the groove, a perfect EP for me.

5. Kolombo – 4Ever Baby (Andreas Henneberg Remix)

Andreas did an amazing job. This is one of my favourite producers at the moment.

6. Namito & Joyce Muniz ft. Quinta Young – Me And Da Beat

What a groove! That’s the kind of techno I really love.

7. AmFlow ft. Koffee – Raw Uncut (Louie Vega Remix)

Louie Vega once again did a perfect remix. And Koffee, a perfect message.

8. Oxia ft. Artslaves – For Real

Another banger from Artslaves and Oxia. It’s got a very sweet and space synth.

9. Sasse – Jive Talking

I love the 90s vibe Sasse respected: very deep synths and such a sweet atmosphere.

10. Yoav – Touch (Sascha Braemer Remix)

This is a very nice remix again from Sascha Braemer. That’s a very sensual and lovely deep track, perfect for afterparties.
