Playground Fest is the new electronic force arising in Madrid. From the 29th to the 30th of September, the Spanish capital will witness the arrival of a very sophisticated and modern underground music festival.
PLAYGROUND FEST is born from the idea of using the experience obtained in the past to advance towards being a leading organization in large-format underground electronic music events. The concept is consolidated with a clear objective: offer a festival of quality in which underground music adepts can enjoy and feel the music in its maximum splendor.
The festival intends to move away from the concept of traditional festival and focus the consumer experience from a modern, avant-garde and abstract perspective; supporting the cultural and artistic environment of the sector. A lot of national and international artists will perform such as Agents of Time, Paul Ritch, Edu Imbernon, ANNA, Alvaro AM, etc…

2. CODE 123 (Paco Osuna All Night Long) @ Fabrik Madrid
There is not much more we can say about Paco Osuna. He has launched one of the most respected labels in the industry, Mindshake, discovering new super talented artists ever since. He was part of Richie Hawtin‘s family ENTER. in Ibiza and all around the world, stablishing himself as one of the most sought-after DJ’s in the circuit. No wonder he ended up creating Club4 together with titans Marco Carola, Adam Beyer and Christian Smith.
His legendary all-night sets are a classic in Fabrik Madrid, and thousands of people gather every time Paco offers this unique chance in the Spanish capital. A truly unique musical journey through the darker and deeper spectrum of tech house and techno.

3. Green Velvet @ Nox

4. Lowild presents DJ Fronter @ Shôko Madrid
Shoko Madrid is located in the neighbourhood of La Latina. The club has 2 rooms: the main room, known as the “Great Hall” with a capacity of 400 people, and another room upstairs “Crystal Hall” (150pax capacity) where you can enjoy a more privileged night, overlooking the lower floor.
Shoko Madrid is normally open from Friday to Sunday, with different sessions passing from Latin sounds, Hits and R&B, but a new concept has born, “Lowild”. Lowild is the perfect combination between electronic music and underground techno.

7. Crow Techno Club @ LAB Espectáculos
LAB Espectáculos is an experimental cocktail of audiovisual contents and a space prepared for big events and shows, located in the first plant of the station of Chamartín.
On Friday, September 15 it starts. Darkness and a deep sounds will be the hallmark. Stacey Pullen, the Kosmik Messenger, and innovator from the second wave of Detroit techno (together with Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson) will put the best techno from Detroit together to blow your mind away. And last but not least, the queen of Hard Techno: Fatima Hajji.
Fatima Hajji is an specialist in bringing up her deep African origins- through more contemporary sounds, including Techno-house. She stands for freshness, audacity and ruthless grooves, the ideal medicine for having fun. And fun is exactly what this night is going to be.

8. Flamenco Electrónico @ Fabrik
The Fabrik room welcomes all those who have returned to the capital after the holidays with a very special party on Saturday the 16 of September.
Is there a better way to start the fall-winter season than with an evening of groovy, chic and sexy tech house and house from the best artists in the scene? Headlining Madrid’s room will be world-renowed French trio Apollonia (Dan Ghenacia, Dyed Soundroom and Shonky). A staple of any big event, it’s a truly unique combination and their extended back-to-back sets are something everyone must experience. The connection the artists have between them and the track selection is absolutely perfect, something hard to find nowadays (and even harder if you take into account that there are three minds behind the DJ booth).
Well experienced DJ and producer Martin Buttrich and Fabrik residents will share the decks too, to complete what it’ll be a heated up end of summer party!

9. Tommy Four Seven @ Stardust
Tommy Four Seven, based in Berlin, has established himself as one of the main names of the current techno scene. Deriving from a refined skill during his early years as a resident of the London Fire club, Tommy’s sets invariably embrace a rich variety of styles, flowing seamlessly between the straightforward techno that every day requires, and his signature, more broken forms driven through his ever-expanding discography.
A series of early releases, shared on a wide range of labels, including Darko Esser’s, Speedy J, Electric Deluxe, Wolfskuil Records and his now-defunct Shooting Elvis, culminated in the 2011 Primate, a long-running debut in which he could explore how to produce a range of textures he was missing at the time, relying only on field recordings rather than traditional hardware. The album’s success, which saw remixes of a high profile by artists such as Robert Hood, Regis and Perc, marked a cornerstone in its long-standing relationship with Chris Liebing’s CLR label.

10. After Brunch Festival @ Autocine
The largest drive-in cinema in Europe, located in Chamartín-Fuencarral. A unique space 5 minutes from Plaza Castillla with a breath-taking view of the city of Madrid. You heard that right, a party in a drive-in cinema… such a perfect location isn’t it?
