MIRA Digital Arts Festival 2024: Where Music, Technology, and Visual Art Converge

The Catalan festival returns to Barcelona, this time at the Fabra i Coats venue, for two packed days and nights on November 8th and 9th, with headliners like Bicep, Kim Gordon, and Lorenzo Senni, among others

As Barcelona settles into the rainy days of November, MIRA Festival is ready to bring the heat back to the city’s cultural scene. This year’s edition promises an experience filled with immersive audiovisual shows, cutting-edge musical performances, installations, and more. Here’s a taste of what awaits at MIRA 2024.

When it comes to music, MIRA has once again curated a diverse lineup, blending experimental soundscapes with genre-defying beats. Over two nights, festival-goers can catch up to 25 live sets and DJ performances from a wide range of international artists like Bicep (presenting their highly acclaimed CHROMA show), Kim Gordon, Lorenzo Senni, μ-Ziq + ID, A.G. Cook, Snow Strippers, and Toccororo. Each act brings a unique flavor to the festival, ensuring an eclectic musical journey that will resonate with electronic music aficionados and newcomers alike.

Beyond music, MIRA 2024 promises an expanded digital arts experience. Attendees can engage with 10 new installations, featuring world premieres like “ECHO,” in collaboration with Cultura Inquieta, and “Photons,” presented by Eyesberg. Adding an extra dimension, MIRA DOME by BlendBCN will showcase immersive films, with contributions from artists such as Defasten, SOS Gunver Ryberg, Desilence, and Suzanne Ciani.

In the lead-up to the main event, MIRA WEEK will feature side events across Barcelona from November 4th to 10th, building anticipation and giving the city a taste of what’s to come. With only a few weeks left, MIRA Festival 2024 is set to once again transform Barcelona into a hub of electronic music and digital arts.
